M.W – Murky Waters
Put me in coach! Explain exactly what you expect of me. Raise the bar, help me be better. I cannot see my feet at all and that scares me. Following my footprints back to shore is a certain impossibility.
These Nile-styled currents add so much lift to my steps I misplace the river’s bed with each step. Understand me swinging my legs forward half anticipating a ledge to fall off.
If I could tether you to my being, I’d feel like I had a safety belt on, securing my breathing. Erase my hesitancy, please. Write me back at least. I go mad banging my head against the wall blindly for no reason at all.
