Dearest Porcupine Poetry

06/21/2021

6/21 – This past weekend, I found myself adjusting my poetry output to appear more grounded.

Hence:
Dear Dark Chocolate,
Thank you for arriving compressed and easily malleable.  I want to explore my senses with your input.  My sense of taste shall be tallied as a victor for your richness flooding my tongue.  Your soft exterior welcomes my teeth marks.  Your shiny casings fell to the floor with little effort.  I appreciated that.
The fragrance of cocoa had my eyes watery.
I am so looking forward to moments of mindfulness letting you soften up resting in my mouth.  With patience I doubt I’ll need to call on my molars to finish anything.  I hope you feel at home and never hesitate being picked first ever again!
