Week In Focus!


What “special interests?”

Go ahead, call me “THE outlier.”  I’ll wear that moniker loudly and proudly.   My quote unquote “special interests” align with “taboo” topics of discussion.  Love, romance, making a living and providing for a family..  You know, topics that make fuss-budgets’” heads spin.

I tend to throw other “special interests,” like disability advocates, girls and social safety nets to the wolves often.  This week’s dwelling and perseveration, checked off the list!  What’s next!?  I’ll tell you what’s next…  HOME WORKOUTS!  I’ll get today’s “post” posted, then conquer the world, ok!?  More like “get back to CONTINUING to CONQUER THE WORLD.

Hence, this is why hearing that you’re too “close-minded” and alike should not concern you.  Stay in your lane.  Overdeliver.  Cite last night’s “post.”  Today, I plan on intentionally belly-flopping into increasing my physical output.  Drafting some sweet, harmonic and passionate poetry may come at some point too, but my head’s in the game of devastating comfort zones, making myself the knot in the wood, and a huge splinter right now.  Humor me.

Get over it!  Today, I want to work on mastering the next step of Power Cleans.  “That’s an exercise, goofball.”  Yesterday’s “how-to” left you holding the bar with your “Raptor arms.”  When the bar is in “the racked” position you want the bar resting on your delts.  Soon enough, you’re going to want to explode with umph and get your arms extended supporting the bar over your head.  I’m not there yet.  You might not be there either.  That’s fine.  Working on getting through the initial steps and getting the bar into the racked position is full of steps and movements to practice and define.
