Listen Crabtree,
You clearly do not understand how much I want to run up to you, grab you with both hands and shake ya until hundreds if not thousands of tiny mini-you’s cover the ground.
I want to multiply you. I legit can not get enough of you. The ample eye contact, the hushed words, the connection felt, I want more of all of that. If I may, I suggest we mask all of our interactions as therapeutic. I will do my part to flatter you as well as propel myself in linear fashion.
I would appreciate you suggesting we humor ourselves and take our time learning more about each other.
May our hands touch. Hopefully I remember to rest my hands on your desk. Hopefully we will sit side by side. Hopefully I see your eyes twinkle. I pray I hear you mutter, “shhhh.” I pray for patience. My legs are tingling already. Bite your lip, aggressively tap my shoulder. Eyes on lock. Push me back and say, “Don’t worry, I gotchu.”
That’ll be enough for lesson one! You’ll have me more than thrilled. I won’t be looking for excuses moving forward.
