Hey Goldfish,
I’m a Barracuda. It’s been wet season, after wet season since I’ve last seen you. I remember your golden colors and figure so vividly. You might not have clearly seen me before now. I’ve been living and hiding, more or less under a rock trying my best to protect myself. I admit, I’ve become more and more shy throughout this drought we’ve been experiencing.
I hope I see you again soon, so I can put my courage to the test, again. I don’t think these schools of shrimp present and pesky minnows would be in favor of us floating on our backs fin-in-fin or doing catfish calisthenics in the same vicinity even.
That’s their problem, huh!?
I hope sand art shows me a map to your home one of these days. Mother lobster and father shark scare the wits out of me. They know I’ve tried reaching you. I hope moons bring tides I can handle and transcribe more clearly any minute.
I’m looking out for you everyday.
