11/02/2021 – Post-Lift

“Miss Stone,”

I am happy to write to you this afternoon.  I have changed your name for your protection.  I already hit Chest Press, Shoulder Press, Lat Pulldowns and Back Extensions at the gym this afternoon.  It is chillier out today.  Drinking that cold coffee before my lift probably wasn’t the smartest move, but I think it helped.

My body IS sore.  This “update” will count as today’s poetry.  I’m putting my faith in your ability to hold heat, to see me through the remaining hours in this day before I head to bed tonight.

I am very happy that I feel a bit more comfortable writing to you.  If you ever sense me biting my lip again, tell me to man up, for gosh sakes!
